The flush plate is installed at the final stage of installation so all the parts can be thoroughly checked and tested.
How to operate the Geberit Aquaclean
At first glance, modern shower toilets like the Geberit Aquaclean look just like any conventional toilet. That is because the spray arm used in all Aquacleans are hidden away in a well-protected discreet position when it is not in use. The spray nozzle on the bidet toilets are automatically rinsed with fresh water before and after every use, so it is always kept clean.
Starting the shower function
The shower function is activated by pressing a single button. Only at this point does the spray arm extend diagonally forward from its default position, thus keeping the spray nozzle clean. A few seconds later, you will feel the pleasant sensation of a jet of warm water at body temperature.
Adjusting the shower spray
If you feel that the shower spray is too weak or too strong for you, you can adjust the intensity of the spray of water to suit your personal preferences. Of course, you can switch the shower function off at any time, but it can be experienced for a full 15 to 20 seconds. After all, the shower function uses a lot less water than you might think.
Environmental Credentials
In terms of environmental footprint, Geberit’s shower toilet complete solutions deliver outstanding results and are comparable with conventional toilets requiring the use of toilet paper. Compared to the consumption of paper, the additional water used by a shower toilet is only a minor factor, whereas the production of toilet paper and the power this consumes play a more significant role. Geberit AquaClean products allow users to save more energy by individually adjusting the product settings, thus reducing their environmental impact even further.
In standby mode (economy mode), all Geberit AquaClean models consume no more than one watt of energy – or even 0.5 watts in the case of the Geberit AquaClean Mera. All Geberit AquaClean models come with an economy mode and comply with the European Ecodesign Directive.
